Corporate volunteering days present a unique opportunity for businesses to engage in community service, while fostering a culture of social responsibility within their organisation. In addition, corporate volunteering programs can play a crucial role in; enhancing company culture, improved employee engagement, skills development, attraction and retention of talent and team building. If your company is looking to complete some volunteering, or if as an employee you have designated giving back and volunteering days, then we would love to hear from you.
It's a win-win - corporate volunteering provides a mutually beneficial scenario for our charity and your company. Volunteers benefit significantly from these experiences as engaging in community services allows you to develop new skills, build professional networks, and gain a sense of fulfilment from contributing to meaningful projects. In return, the charity benefits from experience volunteers, and the people who use our services get to meet new people which is stimulating and exciting.
Typically our volunteers help out at our meetings places and by facilitating the activities and making all members feel welcome. This could range from drawing and playing jigsaws with people who struggle with social anxiety, to having a cup of tea and a chat with someone who may be feeling lonely. For more details please see links to our meeting place here:

“The company I work for, Alpha Laboratories, encourage employee’s to take some time in the year to volunteer in the local community. After contacting friends at the Healing Hub Charity, I was able to help with the amazing sessions set up in Alton and Aldershot. I was welcomed with smiling faces from the volunteers and members alike, enjoying conversations and games with everyone involved!
The Healing Hubs has a truly fantastic community and I am pleased to have been apart of it, even for a short time! I hope to get involved in more events in the future!”
