The Meeting Place

We provide community Meeting Places where people of all ages can come together for friendship, companionship, and activities. Providing a safe space to feel connected to others in your local community.

The Meeting Places

The Meeting Place : Aldershot

Our History

The Aldershot Meeting Place serves as a pivotal hub within our community, attracting a consistent attendance of 25-30 individuals every week. In this warm and welcoming space, we offer not only hot lunches and refreshments but also a diverse range of activities, including crafts, guest speaker sessions, and a monthly memory choir. Beyond mere events, these gatherings play a crucial role in fostering socialisation and community engagement. We take pride in creating an environment where everyone, regardless of their background, can find support and connection. At the Aldershot Meeting Place, nurturing a sense of belonging and providing genuine community support are our foremost objectives. Join us and experience the strength of community in every interaction.

The Meeting Place : Alton

Our History

The Meeting Place in Alton, whilst still new, is a genuine community sanctuary. It goes beyond offering coffee and crafts; it provides a haven where people can connect authentically, forging meaningful friendships. The space hosts engaging talks and welcomes all, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and belonging. This matters because it creates a tangible sense of community, where individuals find support, understanding, and genuine human connection, enhancing their overall well-being and enriching the fabric of our local area.

Meeting Place Southampton

Our History

Located at Piland's Wood Community Centre, this vibrant group has been a wonderful hub of connection and support, generously funded by Eastleigh Southern parishes Network. After a fantastic journey with The Happy Healing hut CIC, we are thrilled to announce that The Healing Hubs is now taking the reins!

We are on a mission to grow our community here in Eastleigh and are inviting new members to join the fun every Wednesday from 12am-3pm.

Whether you are looking for friendship, support, or just a good time, come and be part of something special.

"We all call The Meeting Place our 'happy club'. I have seen The Meeting Place go from strength to strength. It is wonderful chatting with all the people and playing games. The singing that we do with The Memory Choir is just so good for the soul. Everyone always says how much they look forward to Mondays. The volunteers are all wonderful, too."
