Our History
The Healing Hubs Charity was founded in November 2022 and registered with the Charities Commission in England and Wales.
The registered office is in Alton, Hampshire.
The charity provides befriending services.

Why?
Befriending acts as a significant intervention to reduce loneliness and isolation, acting as a crucial, non-clinical support system that reduces the risk of mental health crisis by providing companionship, emotional support and improved social connection.
Research indicates that regular, structured or informal companionship from trained volunteers helps individuals. Reducing feelings of hopelessness, a feeling that has links to self-harm and suicide.

The Healing Hubs provides space, whether it be on a telephone call, or in person, at someone's home or on a virtual call, where connection is rebuilt one gentle moment at a time.
